Cape Town, South Africa, 26 June 2026 – Following the launch of The Belly Restaurant Group (BRG), the hospitality collective founded by acclaimed chef-restaurateurs Anouchka Horn and Neil Swart, the group is continuing its commitment to celebrating South African ingredients, producers and culinary storytelling through an exciting programme of collaborative dining experiences across its restaurants, Belly of the Beast, Galjoen and Seebamboes.
The Belly Restaurant Group has become one of the country’s most influential independent hospitality groups, recognised for its sustainability-led approach, whole-animal cooking philosophy and deeply nostalgic interpretation of South African cuisine. With three celebrated restaurants already operating from Cape Town’s East City Precinct and three new concepts, BURI, Quagga and No Show, set to open later this year, BRG continues to champion local producers and meaningful food partnerships.
This winter, guests are invited to experience a series of limited-seat collaborations that bring together some of South Africa’s most exciting wineries, farmers, foragers and artisans.

A CELEBRATION OF PRODUCERS, PROVENANCE AND PEOPLE
For Horn and Swart, these collaborations are a natural extension of the philosophy that underpins every restaurant in the group.
“Everything we do starts with relationships – with farmers, fishers, foragers, winemakers and producers who care deeply about what they do,” says Horn. “These dinners give us an opportunity to shine a light on the people behind the ingredients and to create experiences that are both delicious and meaningful.”
Swart adds: “As The Belly Restaurant Group grows, our commitment remains the same: supporting local producers, championing sustainable practices and creating memorable experiences rooted in South African food culture. These collaborations are an exciting way to bring those values to life.”
Seats for all events are limited and advance booking is essential.
